1. Data Controller

Rettifiche Bille S.r.l., with registered office at Via Del Progresso 86, 36035 Marano Vicentino (VI), Italy (the “Company” or the “Data Controller”), guarantees compliance with personal data protection regulations pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), providing the following information regarding the processing of data communicated or otherwise collected while browsing this website.

2. Processed Data, Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

Data generated by website access

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

Such data (for example domain names, IP addresses, operating systems used, browser and device type used for connection) are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used for:
i) obtaining anonymous statistical information on website usage;
ii) managing and monitoring website operation;
iii) verifying liability in the event of possible cybercrimes.

The legal basis for processing such data is the necessity to enable the website functionalities following the user’s access.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

Personal data voluntarily provided through forms are collected and processed for the following purposes:
a) managing customer relations based on contractual agreements;
b) administrative purposes and compliance with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements, or requests from judicial authorities;
c) subject to specific consent, sending newsletters and advertising material periodically via email;
d) subject to specific consent, providing updates on our activities and notifications regarding blog posts publication;
e) subject to specific consent, sending promotional communications and invitations to events, training courses, webinars, special promotions, or participation in market analysis and research;
f) in the case of CV submission, exclusively for recruitment purposes;
g) where online sales/shop areas are available, fulfilling sales and contractual obligations and shipping products, services, gifts, catalogues, or reports.

The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the implementation of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the data subject. In the expressly indicated cases, the legal basis is the freely given consent of the data subject.

3. Nature of Data Provision

Apart from what is specified for browsing data and data collected through the website, data provision is:

A) Mandatory for contact form purposes; if the privacy policy is not accepted, it will not be possible to send the request form.

B) Optional for newsletter subscription. Failure to provide consent will make it impossible to receive newsletters, advertising material, or invitations to events and initiatives promoted by the Data Controller.

4. Processing Methods and Data Retention Period

Collected data are processed using electronic or automated, IT and telematic tools, or manual processing strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data were collected, ensuring data security at all times.

Data are stored for the period strictly necessary to manage the purposes for which they were collected, in compliance with current regulations and legal obligations.

In any case, the Data Controller applies rules preventing indefinite data retention and limits storage periods according to the principle of data minimization.

5. Authorized Persons, Data Processors and Data Disclosure

The processing of collected data is carried out by authorized internal personnel following specific instructions and in compliance with applicable legislation.

Where necessary or instrumental to achieving the purposes indicated above, collected data may be processed by third parties appointed as external data processors or communicated to them as independent data controllers, including:

  • individuals, companies, associations or professional firms providing assistance and consultancy services to the Company;
  • companies, entities and associations providing services related and instrumental to the execution of the aforementioned purposes (market analysis and research services, credit card payment management, IT systems maintenance).

Personal data will never be sold or disclosed publicly.

6. Rights of the Data Subject

At any time, it is possible to access data, object to processing, or request deletion, modification, or updating of all personal information collected by the Data Controller, as well as exercise the right to restriction of processing and the right to data portability, by sending an email to: bille@rettifichebille.it.

The data subject has the rights provided for under Article 7 of the Italian Privacy Code and Article 15 GDPR, including the right to:

A) Obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist;

B) Obtain information regarding:

  • the origin of personal data;
  • the purposes and methods of processing;
  • the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with electronic tools;
  • the identification details of the Data Controller, processors and designated representative pursuant to applicable regulations;
  • the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them.

C) Obtain:

  • updating, rectification or integration of data;
  • deletion, anonymization or blocking of data processed unlawfully;
  • certification that the operations above have been notified to recipients of the data, unless impossible or disproportionate.

D) Object, in whole or in part:

  • for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning them;
  • to the processing of personal data for advertising, direct sales, market research or commercial communications through automated systems (email) and/or traditional methods (telephone or postal mail).

Where applicable, the data subject also has the rights under Articles 16–21 GDPR (right to rectification, right to erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, right to object), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
